Subject: Special General Meeting Agenda

Throughout our history, EFCC churches have elected godly people from across Canada to the Board of Directors. These individuals have always prayerfully sought to make wise decisions regarding the future of the EFCC.

Although not everyone agrees with all of the decisions the present Board has made, EFCC churches confirmed their confidence in the present Board in a vote on May 3, 2025.

In what we believe is the best interest of the EFCC, we, the Board of Directors, once again unanimously recommend Shaun Wick to be our next president. As was noted before, Shaun has the experience, gifts, and most importantly, the character to lead the EFCC in such a time as this.  

We acknowledge the misstep in not enabling the entirety of our EFCC family to participate in this important decision in May, and we are looking forward to this upcoming SGM as it will provide the opportunity for all our delegates to prayerfully engage in determining our future.

We invite your church to prayerfully consider your role in this process and to make plans to participate.

If there are any questions ahead of the meeting, we kindly ask that you submit them to SGM@efcc.ca by Saturday, August 30, 2025. If there are submitted questions relevant to the motion not already answered by the FAQ, we will address them at the SGM.

You will also find included with this notice a link to the delegate registration form. Please return your completed delegate list as soon as possible so that we can prepare accordingly.
